Hotels.com & Expida Are Rip-offs

I go to Mexico (Baja Calif) monthly and stay at the same place. This time because of conventions I was forced to go to Hotels.com and Expeda. There discount mantra is all bull shit. Del Palmar rents for through the Hotel $267.00 a night, Expedia is asking $675.00 for the same room. La Estancia where I will be staying (because of a cancellation) for $300.00 a night Expedia and Hotels are asking $800.00 a night. I thought these places were discounters? I know if I had used either one and when checking out I found out that my $675.00 a night room could have been picked up for $267.00 I would be pretty fukin hot.

Before using any .com you might check directly with the hotels.

The other times were you going with a business though? I know if my company goes somewhere the hotels we stay at are usually discounted so maybe you were getting a discount rate before and the 600+ is closer to the real price?

I myself have nothing against drug couriers, but you might want to think twice about giving out info like this on a public forum.

I go on my own while my house is being finished, one more month and fuck the hotel system forever. The hotel direct prices are posted and are many hundreds below expedia and hotels.com.

I've never gotten any great rates through those websites either.
