You're right, Kramer! We can take the "taxed" rep and give it to least among us! From each according to his ability, to each according to his need. Or, maybe we just give it all to me.
It would change the dynamics if everyone that got rep reciprocated...
Personally, I do my best, but have to focus my efforts towards a 1-for-1 for the higher rep power folks. Also, I try to give a few extra when I can to higher rep power folks, e.g., King has 10 to my 6, so I swing him a few extra, and hope those down the chain do the same for me.
If that was directed at me, I don't see you on my Rep Given list.
It was a general statement directed at no one in particular. Actually, it may have come off as pandering, but it really wasn't that as well. It's nice to know that people appreciate or find humor in some of your posts and let you know that, but at the same time rep is not a measure of the quality of posts, simply how many people give you positive feedback. Since people can give positive feedback for a number of reasons, popularity, reciprocation, ego, checkbook, etc, I don't plan to put any more stock in the posts of people with 10's than I do people with 1's.

I have no problem with that idea. Its a good way of fucking over the clones and anyone who brings a negetive net benefit to the table.
