Looks nice. So that's what replaced the old GTS.

Very nice indeed. I take it those are silver stripes? If they were white then those are the wrong wheels. Looks great no matter what!

Yup. Silver stripes. I, FWIW, think the silver looks better with the blue than the white. ('course that could be because that's what I have.)

Corsa just sounds awesome. Lost the crossover and with that, A LOT of in-cabin heat. BIG difference.

Glad to have my shorter shifter back. Felt like I was driveing a tractor with the stock one.

Still in break-in mode. Just over 500 miles.

Looks more like silver here:

Not any more: 500 miles is the recommended break-in on the SRT's - at least the ones I have had. Let 'er rip!

Yeah, I know....... but Dan Cragin says.........

I figure it won't hurt to just gradually be more aggressive over the next 500.

I even changed the oil at 400 miles just for the heck of it.

Now what I have to do is remember NOT to back straight out of that parking place, like I did with the GTS. Put a nice curb rash on the wheels the first day I had it. ugh. So far, so good.

How do you like it vs. the GTS so far? Happy you switched? It was tough to see your car sell. Someone got a great deal.

Yeah, happy I switched...... though that was not the original intent. I bought an X3 as a daily driver and the GTS was just sitting in the garage. I used every excuse not to drive it, like, it's wet out, it's cold, mileage is getting high, warranty is almost out, etc. So I sold it. And you're right. Someone got a great deal. I wonder, often, where it is now.

I'd never buy an SRT roadster. Sorry roadster lovers, but that's the truth. (I even had a '96 RT/10 and didn't like the first GTSs.)

But when I saw the SRTC, everything changed.

How do I like it? I'm crazed, and IMO, it goes to the next level of refinement without giving up any of the raw GTS appeal. Everything about the car seems more thought out, put together, bolder and, I don't know how to put it - "professional". I can now admit how much I missed the GTS, and feel very fortunate to be able to replace it with the SRTC. The Corsa side-pipe sound is Bad-Ass and so different in sound from the GTS. It's just a different car overall.

So now I have a new daily driver.
