I was going to take Kasey to Atlantis for her 30th B-Day, but for the same amount of money we can get a full ocean front suite at RIU, which is all-inclusive and right next door. The girl at RIU says that each suite has a fully stocked mini-bar, and is right on the ocean.
Atlantis looks to be waaaaay nicer but has no all-inclusive option, and from what I understand the food and drinks are outrageous.
My logic is that we can stay next door in a suite instead of a room, eat and drink for free, and still enjoy most of the Atlantis (casino, marine habitat, etc.) on day passes. I only worry that the place is a shithole or something.

people with less money think that the people with money who say "its only money' are dicks.. get it?

The Atlantis is beautiful and impressive, but congested as hell. It was over 2 hours for some restaurants.
The Ocean Club is an excellent alternative...but even pricier. The Rui resorts are very nice, but noticebly 2nd tier. Atlantis is a mill. Beautiful and great fun (except if your foot heavy and you don't surf at the end of the slide....GODDAMM that HURT!!!) but still a crowded mill. With the restaurants, you need to call ahead prior to your arrival and make reservations. A few are quite good, but half serve franchise fare with different Atlantis scenery. If you go to Paradise Island (or Nassau) MAKE SURE to eat at Dune at the Ocean Club (Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten). SOOOO much better than everything else there!
Atlantis DOES have meal plans...but none for cocktails.
