Pictures From The Detroit North American International Auto Show!!!!
I went to the Industry preview for the Detroit Auto Show tonight for a few hours. Took about 80 pictures. One thing I liked this year, unrelated to the cars, is that the car models are wearing skimpier outfits and dresses once again rather than the boring pant suit they have worn the last few years. Fuckin' women's libers trying to spoil it for everyone anyways. At least now there is some skin to look at too. Check out this article on the subject: Auto Show Revs Up Sex Appeal
There was a gorgeous new Ferrari model sitting out front that I was going to take a picture of after I left the show, but the fuckers put a cover over it. The Ford Super Chief truck was awesome looking. The $1.8 million Ferrari FXX or whatever was sweet as hell. All and all a good time was had by all, especially since it was free.
I'll try to post a few pictures. Anyways, there was a yellow/black stripe Viper SRT-10 coupe there upstairs. Then there was that strange looking ASC Viper coupe downstairs with the pipes sticking out of the hood and funky paint job. It actually looked better in person, but I could do without the funky paint job/carbon fiber galore. Then there was also a red Viper SRT-10 coupe or convertible (I can't remember) sitting downstairs with graphics and decals all over it. Plus Kobe Bryants DUB edition Lambo Murci was downstairs too.
I'll try and post some pictures before I go to bed, after I get done with some other stuff I gotta get done first.

Z06 was getting alot more attention than the Viper coupe because GM was actually letting the public look their cars over. The bolsters on the Z06 were thrashed, but at least people had the chance to sit in it and dream alittle.
Never understood why DC doesnt open up the Viper at shows. Hell at least pop the hood.

Here you go!!!! Unfortunately not all the models are out on the floor for this preview day. A lot of them are, but it doesn't seem like all. Plus the fact that I feel like a perv walking up to some model asking if I can take her picture. Haaaaaaa. Even though I am one. So I only have a few pictures of models. I wish I took a picture of this hot as hell blonde chick at the Nissan information desk. Damn. Well here are some of the 80 pics:

Those pictures are the finest anywhere! I now actually LIKE that Ferrari FXX car because of the pics above. Yet, tell me why the Ferrari 599 looks like a Nissan 350 from first glance? I'm going to this year's show but doubt I'll be able to get any photos as good as those above.

Normally any cars outside of the big manufactures are located downstairs; however, Saleen always has a booth outside of the actual show -- in front of the glass where people passing by can see.
Next time you decide to be a high-roller and go to the black tie event, bring me along and I'll show you around the place...
