I guess that explains his success. I never liked Jerry Lewis either. I think they both went to the same school of comedy.

I like some of his early stuff; since then most of his stuff sucks and is the same thing repeated over and over. Kind of like Adam Sandler.

I never go see movies like Jim Carrey's or Adam Sandler's, but they seem pretty funny when I see them free on TV...

Some of Careys stuff is great. The scene from Pet Detective where he is kicking and punting the UPS package down the hall is classic! And the star-trek scene where he is in the dolphin tank is funny too.

But the best scene ever is the one from Cable Guy where they go to that restaurant and he is acting out the scene from Gamesters of Triskellion with the music and everything... hilarious.

You guys ever see Me, Myself and Irene? That movie is funny.

Movies like Liar Liar are funy as shit. Some of his cheesy slap stick flicks are too much for me. I think Bruce Almighty is going to be another awesome flick.

I thought mr. Majestic and the Truman show was really good.
I like dramas and both of them was excellent, in general i though JC was good in the first pet detective but the rest of his "comedy" movies wasn't that great imho.

Bruce Almighty seems really fun. I think i'll see it.

I love his movies too, Liar Liar was good, Cable Guy, Dumb and Dumber....Ace Ventura....jesus all these movies are fucking great and I bet Bruce Almighty will be funny too and with Jennifer Aniston in it, you can't go wrong!

You aren't a minority - I HATE slapstick humor and I think most of the stuff in his movies is stupid (as are most of his movies), but there are a few gems in there. The new movie looks like it has a few pretty funny scenes.

I cant stand JC either. I have liked maybe one of his movies and I cant even remember which one now. This next one looks good though, atleast the concept.
