If anything, Katrina gave a few of our resident white hoods all the excuse that they needed to allow their true nature to be shown.
The Alley has grown to be less of a friends network and more of a melting pot over the last year or so, and as such we have to accept the fact that we most likely have attracted a few less desireables into the fray.
But it doesn't stop at racism. We've got some new members here that would probably be more comfortable playing hop-scotch, or poking sticks at dogs through fences, than they are at forming proper sentences and making meaningful, well thought out posts (or at the very least being somewhat funny).
I think that less people need to jump on the bandwagons of some of these idiots, and instead we need to administer a few good ole-fashioned Alley beatdowns so that we can weed out some of the degenerate scum that has found its way into our (not-so-little anymore) pond.
Does it matter? I mean, if you knew someone was black does that mean you would act differently? How about Middle Eastern? We have a few members from that area on this site as well.

I thought part of the Alley charm was to get a reaction. I've said things in a crowd, racist, sexist, non politically correct.
It seems easier here, not sure why. I've also corrected and deleted a lot of my posts midstream for fear that it might be over the top. Part of me says I'm a pussy for doing that. Are you saying I was right?
The problem is that the site becomes hostile to people who don't fit a particular description: white-middle-aged-male. I'm sure most people roll with the punches at times, but when it starts to become a flavor of the site, then it becomes less enjoyable to those who find themselves being mocked by a large group of people.
ViperAlley isn't suppose to be a "white boys" club, but it sure seems like it lately.
Maybe we can make fun of the Execumalibu's being displaced by the fires in Kalifornia!
