Yep, down $0.20 per gallon overnight at all of the area stations (all brands). Was $3.26 for regular at 10:00 last night, now $3.06 this morning. Interesting...

Some very different prices and availability here - one independent known for low prices is the highest with $3.86; Exxon seems to be holding the lowest at $3.19 while the Shell station is sold out of all grades.

Re: Gas prices went............................down?!

Yeah, I'm pissed on the one hand since I filled up 2 of my cars (they take premium) and spent probably $110 on gas at $3.39/gallon on Thursday night. Then I drive home Friday and the ame station is selling premium for $3.19. I was thinking they'd RAISE prices for the holiday weekend. But I guess I should be happy gas actually went down.

Down another $0.07 per gallon as of this afternoon - now $2.99 for regular. What a difference a day makes...

Re: Gas prices went............................down?!

calculated
raise the price 60 to 75 cents a gallon and when everyone starts to bitch lower it 25 cents and everyone thinks they are getting a deal. Gas should be in the low $2 range especially with the oil companies making record profits.

let Mc Donalds burn down and the price of a burger doesn't go up $2.00 per to help with damage or short supplies, the owner sucks it up. This is what happens when we let someone get a tight grip on our balls. We need alternative fuel research, oil fields in Alaska etc. We need to build refineries and relax some regulations to make it possible.

You sould try to buy like e85 or something similar, get a truck and use bio-diesel.
Both use less gas and save you money and make the people benefiting form this crisis (oil companies) little $ from your tank. The only problem is e85 is hard to come by in the US in certian areas.
