\"IF\" there is another terrorist attack, what do you think will happen?
I've thought about this a lot lately, just before the London Bombings.....then it happend. Strange.. anyways....
What do you think would happen IF, lets say, another MAJOR attack happened on American soil. Not just something small, but a major attack. Lets say at some sporting event, 60,000 fans, 10 hand grenades go off by suicide bombers, or God forbit a dirty nuke, or even a nuke.. Or more suicide plane crashed into buildings...
What do you think, after all we are doing now, the U.S.'s stance would be? Would we invade another country? Would we declare "war" ? But on who?, etc, etc...
Would we even give a fuck about rallying up countries to our cause?, etc
After all, it's NOT IF.. BUT WHEN... AND HOW....

Gerald, the US is the only Superpower on the earth.
Most of mother Russia's fleet can't make it out off dock, and they almost had two ISBM missles cook off in the tubes during an exersize. THe Brits will back us in almost anything we do, more so after the bombings.
That leaves China, which doesn't have a blue water navy. But China is more scared of North Korea right now, than us.

if it happens i think its gonna be small, calculated, ugly attacks. like a bunch of schools, malls, casino or disneyworld kinda places.
im actually amazed it has NOT happened yet. i gave them more credit than they deserved i guess. im glad they haven't though. but when they do, it will be ugly.

I doubt that any terrorist will target schools or sporting events.
Targeting is based wholly on bringing the US economic and military systems to a screeching halt, not simply random civilian death tolls. Bin Laden is not a crazy psychopath that just wants to blow shit up. His goal is to eliminate American capitolism and show the infidels the error of their ways.
If there are more attacks on US soil, I would expect similar targets to the past, with the addition of maybe power plants. Niagara Falls powers half of the eastern seaboard. Taking out the power supply to most of the US financial institutions would be a major blow to the US economy.
Personally, I don't think that any major attacks will materialize anytime soon. Maybe smaller, less effective ones that are harder to recognize and defend.
This is just my opinion of course, and not based on anything concrete. But if I were him, it's what I would do. When I'm ready to take over Canada South, you'll all be the first ones to know it.

If his targets are economic then everything in mass attendance would be on his radar. Take your pick, NFL, any college ballgame, rock concerts and imagine the reduction of attendance throughout the industries. Compound that with the expense of increased security for thousands of events each year - and America's economics gets adjusted for better or worse.
And if you believe the "financially strapped" BS our education system has been spewing for 40 years, wouldn't that make for a good target as well?

That's certainly feasable from an internal standpoint, but I doubt that disrupting a few football games would have the international impact that the NYSE or blacking out Wall St. would have.
I agree with you that sporting events generate plenty of dollars, but I think the islamabombers are going for more of an instant shutdown of the US money machine.
It's all speculation of course, so we could both be right or both be wrong.
