U.S. and Iraqi forces have killed or arrested more than 50,000 Iraqi insurgents in the past seven months, a former top general who has headed repeated Pentagon assessment missions to Iraq said yesterday.

Remember if you add up all the dead Viet Cong and North Vietnamese our Generals and Press reported to us there'd be no Vietnamese left. A few times over.
Short lesson, don't believe everything your military tells you.

Over 500,000 vets from Gulf War 1 and 2 on permanent disability (kept quiet but the leaks are now so many a flood is certain), 11,000 dead from GWS alone, on top of the official tally and on top of those that died anytime within seconds after being put on a stretcher...(another 6,000-8,000 on top of the official count that never made it home since 2003)
the cost is mounting. Let's hope they got the right enemy and have not been chasing a straw man.
The rest of the world (and the Amercian public when they learn it is true) will not forget or forgive the Bush admin when the Depleted Uranium issue finally breaks out into the mainstream media - and it will have to because the cancer rates are soaring 500-1000% now over there and will spread slowly over the northern hemisphere over time as the wind carries the dust. Bush went too far IMHO, and things are not looking good now. I fear that the US's alliance with Isreal is going to exact a price the US cannot pay.

pat pat... the media always tell you the whole truth and the government would never lie to you... nice people, good smegal, go to sleep now.
you in the military - Sure - all that DU radiation over there is quite safe - even at 1000 times plus the maximum safe level recommended by the UN... after all you can't feel a thing can you - it must be as safe as a suntan.
As for the GWS - go look at their OWN GWS vets website before you call anyone ELSE a moran. The vets themselves have more idea about what they suffer and who they are and how many of them there are than YOU... I rounded their number DOWN to 500,000 - go do your own research if you want a more accurate number from the VETS themselves.
Of course - find what you WANT TO BELIEVE by taking the red pill and going to official govt sites and there it all is. See, all the vets are just conspiracy weirdos now. Sure they've fought and got sick for Uncle Sam, and he appreciates that - but I mean - what do they know - they're just sick vets now - their minds are adled, they're all just a pack of whingers while those still out there have the full scoop.
If just ONE person on here got a real clue and did some REAL research it would be impressive... but all I can see is an over-whelming surprise coming for a large section of the population that will NEVER "get it".
There are a handful of families that control over 300 trillion $US and I could care less if you call that a conspiracy, a myth, a fabrication or the bloody truth. Minds much greater than yours - including Lincoln, Churchill, Einstien, Jeffersen and dozens of others have all said far more than I can (or will) here... it's the SIMPLETONS that accept the party line, the sheeple, yes, good smegal.
Take a look around you and the world you live in and enjoy what you know and have known. Notice the changes you've seen and how well you have adapted.
Over the next 18 months it is virtually certain all the changes you have seen over your lifetime will seem inconsequential.

Get used to bowing down to anyone in a uniform that has been given authority In a crisis you will take orders if requested, and it will be your "patriotic duty" to do so. You will be glad to worship at the feet of your rulers for the "national good" because freedom will become the enemy of security. Laws not common sense define who and what is a criminal and everyone can be construed to break some law - out of 10 million we're bound to break one.
Of course there will be some freedoms - you will be free to eat and live and maybe even play as long as you tow the line.... what else could you care about?
to the god of forces they will save you from the big bogey men (their own masters created feeding off old ethnic conflicts) and bring peace in our time... or at least promise to.
It will all be everyone elses fault of course - Iran started this by trying to build a power station, it's Russias fault for backing Iran and threatening Israel, it's China's fault for wanting its share of oil, it's ex CIA payroll recipient Bin Ladens fault for allowing himself to be quoted saying the opposite to what he actually said and for not turning all his cell groups into bible study groups, it's the euro's fault for replacing the dollar, it's the rag heads fault for cashing up a few trillion in the west and consolidating their wealth closer to home, the whole world is to blame and is picking on poor America, but hell the US right says - "we'll take all the bastards on and take them all down with us, we'll teach em all?"

America the great, a people I love, a country I love... I see a setting sun, you've trusted in things that were not worthy of your trust and in people that have betrayed you... your constitutional rights to turn it around are now worthless... you could not mobilize the people if your life depended on it except against the straw man you are GIVEN to hate. to those that will keep you safe or face a new set of realities reserved for those that are deemed to be non conformist. Hell - we should kill all these non comformists right? It'd make it safer - you know - not to have disadents and people that think different to Fox news or CNN and all that... this spirit is already alive - maybe in you. The day it is - you are a slave.
