Re: Little girl in Idaho tells horrible tales of kidnapping
If you have not read the last of the article you missed the best part. Our judicial system failed this family. And this happens everyday. This sub-human should have never been on the streets. And there are thousands like him around us. If you are pissed at the one who did this, you should be even more pissed at those who let these assholes go free or those who rely on the "systems" that cannot track them. I cannot describe the anger I have with this shit and I don't even have a kid. If I was a relative of that family, there would be hell to pay and that payback would not rely on the governments justice system. It would be my justice system and it would start with the first judge that let him go, the dick you paid his bail and then the sub-human himself. Although I suspect he will not last long in jail anyway.
Re: Little girl in Idaho tells horrible tales of kidnapping
Here is an O'Reilly talking points. Don't care if you don't like the guy, he brings up some good points.
"A memo to Minnesota Judge Thomas Schroeder (search): that is the subject of this evening's "Talking Points Memo".
Dear Judge Schroeder, please allow me to fill you in on Joseph Duncan (search), the man you allowed to post $15,000 bail and walk out of prison. In 1979, Duncan stole a car. In 1980, he raped and tortured a 14-year old boy in Washington state, for which he served 16 years in prison. During that time, he told authorities he had raped 13 other young boys — thirteen!
The year 2000, Duncan now out of prison, registered as a sex offender, judge, in your neighboring state, North Dakota. Four months ago, Duncan came before you, sir, charged again with molesting little boys. And instead of keeping him locked up, you allowed him to walk out on low bail, even though you knew his criminal history, according to The Minneapolis Star Tribune.
Duncan then skipped bail, traveled to Idaho where he allegedly murdered four people, including a 9-year old boy. His 8-year-old sister was found with Duncan when police arrested him. The little girl says she was sexually brutalized for weeks by Duncan.
So my question for you, judge, is why are you still sitting on the bench? Why haven't you resigned? These terrible crimes are on you, sir. How can you show up for work?
Judge Thomas Schroeder owes every American a detailed explanation for his conduct. We are waiting. But the shame of the nation isn't Judge Schroeder. It's that we allow him and other judges discretion in sentencing child sexual offenders.
This is simple. Every state in the union should have Jessica's Law (search) passed by Florida in the wake of the brutal slaughter of 9-year-old Jessica Lunsford. That law gives child sexual offenders 25 years in prison first offense, period. Second offense: life. No judge can screw that up.
There is no excuse not to pass Jessica's Law in all 50 states. No excuse. But only a few states have embraced the concept.
Here are the states that send child sex offenders to prison for 10 years or more, first offense. Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Washington and West Virginia.
If your state is not on that list, raise some hell. Call your governor's office. Send a message. Every state must get tough on the likes of Joseph Duncan and take the power away from the likes of Judge Thomas Schroeder. If not, your kids will never be safe.
One last question. Would you allow your 6-year-old to play on your front lawn unattended? Think about it."
Re: Little girl in Idaho tells horrible tales of kidnapping
Well hell, now with the new post at 9:22 PM all three prior posts updated with the same #'s. Posts = 120 at 9:01, 9:17 and 9:22 PM. Of course now will this post increase all priors to 121. Oh the dilemma.
Anyhow, I vote to kill Joseph Duncan in the most painful way possible. Judge Thomass Shitforbrains Schroeder should be put into jail for just being stupid.
Re: Little girl in Idaho tells horrible tales of kidnapping
Two points:
1. When someone who is hell bent on gun control talks to me I bring up cases such as this. My question is what right does the government have to take away ones right to defend oneself when the government is unwilling/unable to protect its citizens against animals such as this?
2. I've always found it untenable that the judiciary is not subject to the same tort system as the rest of us. Just about anyone can be sued for their day to day activities both at home and at work if another party feels that they have been injured as the result of someone's actions/activities. It seems that if judges were held liable for making decisions that lead to outcomes such as this one here they'd be a little more cautious in subjecting the public at large to the potential depravity of obviously sick folks. If that judge could be sued I'm sure it'd be a slam dunk case for the family and the little girl and hopefully the judge would be bankrupted. Little solace but at least some.
Re: Little girl in Idaho tells horrible tales of kidnapping
I say we monitor the little girl. Every time she wakes up from a nightmare or bursts into tears over the horrible acts of this sub-human, we cut 6oz of flesh out of the guy. Start at the toes and work our way up!
To harsh? Do you think the Dept. of Corrections has paperwork for that?
