I talked to him last night and again this morning. He's not nervous at all. He's already sat at tables with some of the biggest names in poker and held his own.
The thing about Hold'Em is that you can't control what the other players are going to do, and sometimes the correct play can end up costing you. Neil is an extremely solid poker player, and one of the best "thinking" players I know. Hopefully the cards fall for him and we get to see him at the final table.

.
Why, were they trying to grab his junk?
Oh wait, NOW I know what you mean.
That's so cool that he's there. That would be friggin awesome seeing him make it to the final table against the usual suspects we see on TV all the time.
The main event (the one that started today) won't be televised until mid-October. If he makes an impression on the powers-that-be, or makes it deep into the tournament (there are over 6000 players), we will likely see him at somepoint.
I told him to wear his Canadian Drinking Team shirt if he ends up at a table with Daniel Negraneau, who is the worlds #1 player, and a Canadian.
i was out there with intentions of playing the main event if i could cash in any of the smaller events. i didnt so i came home but alot of my friends are still out there playing as well

How about a Viperalley.com shirt?
Neil, Good luck, although I don't think you'll need it!
Congrats and good luck to you Highroller!!!!! Not that you need the money. But it would be pretty cool for you to win. What is the buy in on this? $10,000? I hope to see you on TV and a picture of you wearing "the ring" after you win it all.

Cool, let us know if you find out anything conclusive on WHEN he gets on TV :thumb:
