Maurice Gibb of the BeeGees died unexpectedly at age 53 yesterday from an intestinal blockage. While I never liked any of their disco era stuff, some of the earlier music wasn't too bad. After the big disco scare, they seemed to fade away, but in fact wrote a lot of hits for other people. I wonder if "Stayin' Alive" will be played at the funeral?
