Viewpoint Manager

WTF is this piece of shit? I don't recall ever downloading it and now I get a popup every few seconds from Norton saying it is trying to access the internet and do I want to allow it or block it or manually configure. I can't delete it from my program files (access denied). Whatever option I pick it keeps coming up. I'm going to try a reboot. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

It is installed with AOL/Itunes and will be reinstalled if you remove it on a restart. Otherwise you can remove it with add/remove programs.

Sounds like you should be able to uninstall it the normal way. Worst case, fire up regedit and check out the Run key under HKLM (if this isn't enough guidance, don't use regedit
