I apparently drove through some spilt paint in the Home Depot parking lot and now I have what appears to be white paint splattered all over the inside of (2) wheel wells and lower section of the body behind the wheels. I tried to scrub it off but the only thing that seems to take it of is scratching it with your finger nail.
I might suggest going back to Home Depot and take pictures of the area in question. There is a notice question but it can't hurt to file a claim if the paint does not come off.
Easy Off oven cleaner works excellent for taking paint off of plastic. Spray it in your wheel wells, let it sit for a few minutes, and hit it with a pressure washer or scrub brush. It should come off fairly easily (yes, the same thing has happened to me before).
As for the exterior, either clay bar, or a polisher with some mild compound. If it comes off with your finger nail, it shouldn't be too tough to polish off.
I use this shit called Goo Gone. It contains citric acid and takes fresh paint like that right off without damaging your cars paint. It comes in a clear bottle and the goo shit is orange. It works!!!
After looking over the autocross cone-battered SRT-10's from DC, somebody suggested Rain X and even gave me a bottle to try out. Said it also does wonders for taking off paint from "minor scrapes" with other cars, poles, etc. Tried it on the DC Vipers and it took off the black cone marks like they were barely ever on there. So I tried it on my yellow SRT where there are some oil stains (damn "gravel" resealing project in my neighborhood gone completely to hell). Again, took them right off with one swipe and no damage to the paint or clear coat. Nice!

Does this work on the little tar spots that I get from our resealing projects?
Just the standard RainX product?
I've used WD40 on that tar but I think it's pretty rough on the finish; can't get it washed off fast enough.
