Why cant you do polls here?

Its in the options when you post:

Click Poll Start and enter the name of your poll
Click Poll Item for each item you want to make an option
Click Poll End to finish the poll

Hit Submit.

PS - Packet - I tried to do that poll and it kept erroring saying that all the fields weren't filled in... I rebuilt it twice - tried to submit - same error...
