The car has approx 10,500 miles on it and has a show quality paint job. All of the drivetrain components/modifications listed above have less than 3,500 miles on them. The turbos have been on the car for approx 8,000 miles. The car makes around 540 rwhp and 625 rwtq at 10 psi. The present combo would probably make 800 rwhp with larger injectors and a retune – the Tweecer makes tuning fairly easy.
Yes, I have dyno charts that I can fax if wanted.
The interior is standard Factory Five with Stewart-Warner gauges and Autometer boost gauge.
The car is very fast when the boost comes on, but very driveable when just cruising around. It idles like a stock motored car and is a good deal quieter due to the turbos, as they actually muffle the exhaust noise. The larger displacement of the stroker motor gives good low rpm off-boost torque for everyday driving. The car weighs around 2,200 lbs. Serious inquiries only.
No Joy Rides.
Pics are here> Club Cobra
Price is $37,900 OBO I can help with delivery in the Southeast.
That's a very fair price for the car. I just bought back my 1998 Midstates Cobra replica from a guy I sold it to 3 years ago for $35,000......and it's not as modified as this one. Someone should grab this....it's a fun car.
That intake manifold looks anything but effective! Anyone know of a better design out there or any details about that one in the pic?
Thanks,
Jay K.
That is a Holley which is the same as a Trick Flow I believe. I saw that trick flow has a new one for supercharged motors and looks different. I am not much of an engine guru. You might want to check the forums related to 5.0's.
These are light little cars so you don't need much to boogie. There are guys with 1,200 hp set ups in these little cars.....I guess they want to die faster
I road in a 500 hp Superformance, scared the shit out of me. I will be quite happy with 400 HP in a Spec Racer.
