I have a full auto MAC-11 (380cal) - early open bolt model - -
all other autos sound slow in comparison - you can't distinguish the separate
rounds going off - just a roar. Gives you that 'just jumped covey of quail'
feeling in the stomach/anal sphincter. Very controllable. I've heard
the .380 was the preferred caliber for drug runners even though the 9mm (MAC-10)
and 45cal were more popular.
awesome!! that was a great vid! my buddy has a full auto ruger mini-14 that i have shot a few times. my mini-14 is semi auto but i do have a folding stock for it and a bunch of 30 round clips. i shoot nothin but tracers out of my mini-14 nowadays. i shoot it at night. i also have a mini-30 with assualt stock and 45 round banana clips. i have yet to shoot it though because i have to many guns (currently 33) and not enough time. :uzi:

They are not Illegal (In most states) Just heavily regulated and require registration, federal background check, fingerprinting, a signature from the chief law enforcement officer from your city or county and paying a $200 dollar *Tax*.(All of that for each one you buy)You also give the ATF the information on where you will keep the weapon and the right to once a year, at their discretion, to come and inspect the weapon. The whole process takes about 90 days.

The process takes about six months here. All of my weapons are 100% legit.

I was told by the ATF that when I purchase additional MG's the wait would only be around 3mths or less since I was already in the system. I picked up my first MG in '86.
Nohsreg, In 19 years I have never been contacted by the ATF in regards to my MG's.

No I am not a first timer. I don't know if it has anything to do with what region I am in. All of the guys with full autos that I know around here said it took just as long for theirs as well.
