Are there any restrictions on milage or where/when you can drive it??? I dunno but that would be my guess.
They like to underwrite 3-4 thousand miles a year. I do 7 and told them so. They said they make exceptions if much of the mileage is the result of travel to and from car shows and events. I can surely do that.
I have my '02 ACR and the '96 RT/10 insured thru Erie Insurance Co. Both have 5000 mile limits, 6 month winter layups and $500 deductables on both comp and collision. The ACR (for some unknown reason) actually costs $98 less that the RT does ($597.00) per year.
I haven't heard of Hagerty. What kind of quote did you get Scott?

Remember, I'm in NYC which I believe is next to Newark as the country's worst to insure. Geico is about $1,750 and Hagerty is offering $1,060. Big difference.
Anyone use them? Got a great premium quotation and was wondering what's the "catch".
Used Hagerty, when I had the Prowler and matching trailer, they were about 1/2 the price of the rest with the custom paint work, etc. with appraised value of over $95,000.00.
Toby...why on Earth would you carry comp & coll at a $0 deductible? Are they requiring you to or do you simply like to throw money away?
because 250.00 deduct on both is only about 8 dollars less a month. When you consider here in Ohio one gets about 6 months of drive time with full insurance coverage (the other 6 months the car sits in the garage with minimal coverage) ...a few extra $$ is fine with me.
