Excuse my ignorance. Krosnoff?-- was that the one where the F1, Indy, or Cart car (cannot tell from quality of video) flew into the air and was split by the poll? That is the only one where I could see very little chance of survival. Most of the others I recognized.

She was all over that screen! I am only annoyed at the fact that as soon as I secured my Sony Cyber Shot (yes, I got one after seeing yours at the Viper outing at Maxwell), that she acted like a cat.

was the Viper at PIR?

in car stuff was skeeerry. I was amazed at how easy these cars flip. Never road raced like that before and in some cases it just seemed they flipped realatively easy once they started to spin on a flat surface.

If memory serves - Krosnoff got airborne off a tire of another car in a CART race in Canada. His head was crushed by the light pole. His car hit a course marshal in the head, killing him too. This was very near the end of the race, which was Adrian Fernandez's first win.

I believe Christian Fittipaldi had a similar accident at an F-1 race - getting airborne under/near a pedestrian bridge. Obviously, he came out OK.
