Okay, last night I decided to try and help out my computer by downloading one of those spyware things all of you talk about. All I am going to say is, that I can't even boot it up now and my husband need a report off of it for work. Redbeard has been kind enough to offer to help me tonite via phone. (Thank you Redbeard!!!! :thumb
Now, my ABS light came on in my 2003 Dodge Ram last night, so I dropped it off at service this morning. DW calls me to tell me my truck almost caught on fire!!
The connector to my ABS module totally melted, and destroyed the module and the wires to it. They are checking now to see how much of wiring harness was destroyed.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!
I swear, I am stressing like a Chihauhua about to give birth to Great Dane puppies.

I think you are trying to divert attention from the debate over your initals.
Carrot, does it help that my other truck is a 2001 Chevy????
One little near deadly event and all of the sudden everything is doom and gloom. You've gotten almost three good years out of it, it was just DC's way of telling you it's time for a new Dodge. What do you need abs for anyway? I say suck it up and move on, it's not like it actually caught fire, just that it could have, big differance.

HA!! They just brought in the module to me, it is ALL burnt up. (jeez, it stinks BAD!!) Good thing I didn't have a bunch of leaves stuck in the cowl.
And it's not time for a new Dodge yet, I kept the first truck for a year and after 2 un-insured people hit it, I traded it for a new color (better karma). My husband said he will kill me if I bring another new truck home without telling him.
Update on the day: Computer is toast, going to need an exorcism to get it to work and I broke the vacuum. Electrically speaking, I was 3 for 3 yesterday...

You can use the spare good parts from the vacuum to fix the computer or vice-versa. Than you can tell your hubby that with the day you had yesterday you deserve a new Ram 3500 quad cab with the Hemi.
Hubby was being such a umm, grump, yea, that's the word about all my electrical misfortune that I have decided to stick a chewed up golf tee in the vacuum motor so I can blame him for the vacuum breaking. He actually woke me up from a sound sleep last night to ask me if I broke anything else while he was out.
Should have broke something else while he was sleeping, like his favorite golf club. Man needs to be more sympathetic to your plight. If it were my lovely wife I would by her a brand new Yugo. :thumb:
