Satellite Radio, who has what?

I have been going back and forth on what to get, XM or Serious?

First off, I could not care less about Stern, so he does not even factor into the equation. I will be listening to mostly metal/hard rock, and maybe the occasional race or two.

What I do want is to be able to take the unit and go from home, to my car, then use it at work on my shelf system that I listen to. Then back in the car and back to the house. So I will be switching this tuner out many times a day.

So it looks like besides choosing what form, XM or Serious, I need to get the tuner, 2 home kits, and one car kit.

All ideas, opinions, and product reviews welcome.

Sirius - two receivers. Love it because you can also listen to streaming audio of all the stations online as a subscriber.

simple answer. I got it 3 of my vehicles and wife has it on her puter.

Mike just what is streaming audio? Is that like Plum said, listen to it the the computer?


XM has this for an extra $3.99 a month. Which makes them both about the same $ a month.

im NOT sure about the terminology but the wife has an antenna,small box which looks like a reciever or router and a set of speakers. it uses the puter for software I think. it does work pretty good.

but ya cant get O&A on sirius so forget it..lol

Got Sirius at home with Dish network and XM in the toter home for hauling the cars. I like XM a little better, more 80s stations it seems like. And being a teen of the 80s, its my drug of choice.

Howard Stern should be a good draw for Sirius.

Yes, you can listen to all their stations over the Internet on your computer without any additional equipment.
