I may be out of a job monday. Fuuuuck. 2 years i've delt with this layoff downsizing shit, and it looks like it may be my turn next. Actually.. a bunch of my dept's turns.

Only good news from this week has been that the first showing of my house went well, they loved it. They are going to the bank today... so hopefully it will sell quick and painless.

Sorry to hear about the possible bad news. Here's to hoping the axe doesn't drop on you. Think positively. You never know.

I do know how you feel though. Being in a high tech sector is a scary place to be right now. At least you've got $25K coming, or maybe $12K after taxes, either way, it's some unexpected income and better than a kick in the ass on the way out.
