Yup.....It\'s broken
I was watching football on Sunday (watching, not playing), and I felt a sharp pain in my left foot like someone had stuck a knife in it. When I reached down to the sore spot I felt a big lump that seemed like bone sticking out of my foot.

Long story short, apparantly I broke my foot some time ago and didn't realize it, and a piece of the bone has broken off from the spot of the separation.

Getting a cast on it tomorrow morning.

Something similar happened to me about 4 years ago. My ankle would lock up occasionally and have a tremendous pain in it. Went to go get it checked out, and there were 4 bone fragments just floating around which would cause the lockup/pain when they drifted into the joint.

Seems I broke my ankle on one of my parachuting jumps in the army and I just wrote it off as a "sprain". Years later that "sprain" came back and kicked me in the ass.
