Since it's pretty much over other than the concession, it is time to deal with it. I'll take some comfort in enjoying and spending the continued benefits of tax cuts that the country can't afford. I'll try not to be too bothered by the ever increasing body count of young men and women who's lives are being spent in a war that shouldn't have been. I'll take some satisfaction in being right when I believed that the majority of the voters in this country are mostly brain-dead. I'll get to enjoy the continued laughs from the gaffs, fuck-ups, and generalized Bushisms from the guy who I'm still convinced is the dumbest person to have ever held the office of president. Here's to four more years!

Poor Mikie the Doom and Gloom Sour Grapes Dummycrat...
1 - you know what Bush stands for there is no flip flopping
2 - America is at war yes - but it is NOT on American soil.
Millions died in WW1 and WW2, and mulitple thousands in wars since - in Korea, Cambodia, Vietnam etc....
The war against terror cost has been in dollars - but that is part of the cost of keeping the losses of American lives (and her friends) to EXTREMELY low levels.
You moan about the money, you moan about the casualties - which would you prefer?
Here's an idea - it'll save many billions:
Draft in all Democrats - send them in against the war on terror armed with the same weapons the terrorist have. Last man standing - you up for that? :thumb:
didn't think so
Mike the price is high - but Bush decided this generation should pay it so our children don't have to. SO THE COST IS MONEY (which can be earned and replaced) NOT THE BLOOD of our sons and daughters (compared both to other wars and to the alternative of defeat).
The deaths on our side are tragic but TINY compared to the losses inflicted and the victories gained.
This is possibly the most one sided war in history in terms of losses of both sides compared!!! Get real man - YOU THINK WE CAN DEFEAT TERROR WITHOUT A BLISTER, or some casualties? I guess we could - just nuke half the world - is that what you mean?
I'm proud of the men and woman serving - willing to lay down their lives for our freedom. Their blood WILL NOT BE WASTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You see, Mike, you're an optimist. Some people see George Bush and say "his brain is half empty." But you say "his brain is half-full." That's a positive can-do attitude.
mike i am just happy with the fact that 40 % of the vote from TX went to Kerry
yeap 4 more years of no stem cell research (which is a shame but hey 80 year old guys can walk around with a hard on ) and the fact that he is going to make abortion illegal.

30 minutes
19 Terrorist casualties
3,500 American casualties
2 years
XX,XXX terrorist casualties
1,300 American casualties
Can you not do the math, fool?
Well, let's do the math. According to your numbers, we've got 3500 + 1300 = 4800 Americans dead. Gee, now I feel better. We have 1 Osama Bin Laden still alive and kicking and running free. Now I feel safer. We have Iraq which has 0% to do with the "30 minutes" or the "3,500 American casualties." I glad that clears everything up. Isn't math wonderful?
and dont forget the # of new terrorist flocking in to iraq to fight us.
That would be the idea. Would you rather fight them in your home zoo? The dumb bastards are flocking to their doom. Iran is next if they don't wise up as did Libya. I wouldn't want to be a terrorist these days with Bush looking at another four years without concerns over getting elected again.
All we need to do is like just reach out to them and like start a dialog with them and see like what we can do to help them like feel better.
That is all it takes, just a little sensitive caring and like talking about their feelings. We should like let them have what they want and like they will like go away and be happy.
I'll try not to be too bothered by the ever increasing body count of young men and women who's lives are being spent in a war that shouldn't have been.
Guess you missed the part where the mass majority of our troops in Iraq support Bush over Kerry.

Damn, I should make some cash for checking posts.
My God so typical of what is wrong back home and why we are so divided.
Sure you aren’t European?? Kerry wins and my sincere hope would be that his would turn out to be one of the most successful tenures in Presidential history. Would have never happened but I surely would have backed him and RESPECTED THE OFFICE! 58.5 million people voted for the man… but as someone else said we ALL must be idiots and people like you know everything. I just do not understand why scum like you want our government to fail... why? Political spite?? Grow up.
You miserable little bitches need to now SHUT THE FUCK UP and examine the results of this election, which clearly indicates a political mandate that goes way beyond Bush merely winning Ohio.
Bush did something he could not do in 2000… and something Clinton could not do the years you morons kept voting him in. Receive a MAJORITY of the popular votes! > 51%. The popular vote count yesterday was HUGE for Bush. Funny how you hypocrites would have had no problem leaning on the constitution and the electoral process this time but in 2000 we were STEALING THE ELECTION!
The country is DECIDEDLY for the GOP; Congress, State Govs, etc.. Not Bush but the party. The GOP controls everything for a reason. You are out of touch. Move away from the left and perhaps there is hope for you Dem Liberals. I for one would welcome many of you (not you) because your side has a lot to offer and the country needs all of us.
Or just move to Europe and leave us to continue handling things.
