Casket Photos: Disrespectful or Invasion of Privacy?
Politicans don't want us to see them - but these men and women paid the ultimate price and I don't see how these photographs dishonor them or invade anyone's privacy.
Re: Casket Photos: Disrespectful or Invasion of Privacy?
Yea I agree. Show the caskets, its the brutal reality and it needs to be displayed, but on the other hand, the balance needs to be shown as well.. show WTC pics, show the little boys in towelhead land wielding AK-47's.. and show pics of the previous terrorist attacks on American soil, LONG before Bush came on board. Maybe this will wake up some of the 'half asleep' Americans.
Re: Casket Photos: Disrespectful or Invasion of Privacy?
I feel honored and sorrow and we should see them. We should not forget nor hide our fallen brothers and sisters. They repesent the biggest sacrifice one could give for their country. We should not transport them in hiding as if in shame.
Re: Casket Photos: Disrespectful or Invasion of Privacy?
Viewing or photographing the caskets of our fallen warriors is not disrespectful, what is disrespectful is the Liberal spin 90% of our media outlets would "use" these photos for...
There are plenty of websites that pay respects to our fallen warriors...Two I frequent:
Re: Casket Photos: Disrespectful or Invasion of Privacy?
Now why do you guys find the need to look at these photos and spin them into some anti-Democrat or anti-Liberal crap? Why can't you see just what it is, caskets of fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives for our country?

Good Point!
War is Hell, but peace got us nothing against terrorism. Unprovoked attacked on the Twin Towers. We will be fighting guerrilla warfare until I die at least. I just can not believe that kissing up to the UN (france, Germany, Russia, etc.) is going to cure our ills. If, we said Fuck Israel, maybe we would get some slack, but then we would be doing nothing but cowling to the Terrorists.
I will stuck with the guy with some balls, right he does not have a quick fix, but he is trying. In Kerry honestly, see a lier, fraud, self serving one trick pony, and a person with no plan. We, as a nation, have never won any war by consensus. Whether Bush wins or loses the election, the true judgment of him will be way down the road. I am afraid we are spoiled by quick fixes, war is just not that way anymore.
Re: Casket Photos: Disrespectful or Invasion of Privacy?
I don't have an issure with the photography of Caskets of the returning dead, as long as the families don't have an issue. That is the first and only consideration. No, they should not be used to political gain.
And yes the media will spin this into a political agenda point. That is what they do.

I know what you're saying here, but these people knew what they were getting into when they signed on in the first place. I guess I'm just pissed that a freakin' football player or whatever he was is mourned after like he was a saint. He probably had his share of hookers and booze.
