Hello all. I'll thank you ahead of time for the welcome. Here's a preemptive :fist:
I stopped in to a 5 star Dodge dealer in the area last night and had my first hands-on Viper experience. The salesperson was very helpful and really cool. He let me sit in it, open the hood and check out the engine compartment, drool lustingly all over the car... This is one amazing piece of machinery. I have always liked the Viper, from a distance on the internet. Business is going really well, and I can see myself spending $120,000 on a car now, so I went in to see what I was missing. The pics of the Viper do not do it justice. I will have one before the snow flies.
I'm interested in mods, and I'd like to go with a ROE SC kit and some halfshafts, port the heads, forged pistons, maybe a nitrous/propane setup. Maybe a TT setup after I learn to handle the car. This will be no garage queen. There's plenty of tracks in the area.

You may want to consider buying a Viper with all the goodies already installed as it will save you a boat load of money. Check out the classified section and you will find some really nice examples.
Unless of course modding is all part of the fun of ownership for you.

I am happy to have found the "in crowd", as I am sure you were. This is a fun board where the mods actually have a sense of humor and you can mess with people without getting banned. Nobody is holding anybody's hand here. I like it. I have learned a lot about the Viper and mods available from this board. The amount of knowledge here is amazing.

I'm not letting dummy's with more $$ than brains run the market up for you guys. I gotta get my Viper too...
Me purchasing a new Viper and spending money with the vendors on this site will not drive up the market on a used Viper at all. It will only put more money into the Viper community. How is that going to effect the price of the Viper you want to buy in a negative way? Who's the fucking dummy here? :bonk:
