well, if you don't prefer the color combo then almost nothing would be a good deal. At least thats how I am any way. If I can't have what I want then I'd rather have nothing
If only it was an SRT-10...

.j/k some of these replies are too funny. If only it was ... blah blah blah.
Looks to be a nice car at an decent price. Car should sell.
Well, since I'm such a nice guy, once again I let the thread run its course and let other people be the first to muck up the thread with pointless posts before I took a cheap shot.
I'm a giver.
Damn you! I looked at it when it was in the 50's and didn't even bother calling you with a low ball offer like 48. That's my favorite color combo. I'm very happy with what I ended up with and I cannot believe no one has snapped yours up yet. There is nothing like that out there for that price. Perhaps I'll tell the wife no H2 until next year. I'd say your Viper isn't selling for the reasons mentioned above by others-
Mods and Miles.
I have been looking for a Viper and your color is one of the best, but you have a lot of miles and have already modded it.
I'd say $48K is an INCREDIBLE deal. I know it hasn't sold in 7 months, but, someone will come along, keep your head up and stick to the price, if not ask more in fact! Maybe you could raise the price to the low $50s and throw in both sets of rims? With your mods and mileage, it'd make a GREAT track car for someone.
Just my .02
( and a bump to the top to help others see your Viper's for sale )
Feel free to tell me to F@ck Off, as I am sure all the others will! Yes, I am the FNG and know about the ViperAlley wel*cum!

James,
Put down the crack pipe. Make a nice 'Track Car'? You're an idiot. 25,000 miles is nothing, and this car is in excellent shape. Also, aren't the mods very minor? - headers/exhaust/flywheel/gears. IF ANYTHING, people are willing to pay more for these mods. If you want a stock car, sell the exhaust/headers/gears and make $$$ going back to stock. It's not like the guy put in a full roll cage and tore out the interior. Nearly everyone who owns a stock Viper wants exhaust/headers, but many don't want to shell out $3,000 for a slight bump in HP and better sound.
Has this car been wrecked or painted? Has it been tracked hard? At that price, I can't believe you're having a hard time unless there is something you're not telling us. Where have you advertised? Just doesn't seem right... Especially a Silver/Blue, which normally carry a premium.
Thanx 4 the wel*cum! Calling me an idiot and telling me to put down the crackpipe was going easy on me, huh? LOL! Well, good to see you are no longer on the short bus!
Yeah, a track car. With both sets of rims ( one set for track tires and one set for street ) his mods, and miles. Not saying it couldn't be a daily driver, but....
Myself and another friend have been looking at GTS's and neither one of us wants a car w/ mods or that high of mileage. On a NORMAL car 24K miles = no big deal. On a limited production car = a big deal in my opinion and perhaps thats why it hasn't sold.
I've looked at a few 99 silver/blue GTS's and the highest mileage one had 17K and the interior showed wear, alot of wear. When you are getting in and out often enough to put 17K or 24K miles in koupe377's case, little things happen to the interior.
There may be a reason I'm offended. Some of us actually drive our Vipers. And to imply a Viper wouldn't be in great shape because it has a few miles is ridiculous, IMO. Did I mention I even got caught in the rain once Yes, it's true. I drive my GTS an average of 5,000 miles a year. Being it's a '98, I have a monsterous 30,000+ miles on the clock. And believe it or not, my interior is in perfect condition, as well as the exterior and drivetrain. Did I mention I just sold my 1989 Buick Park Avenue (Original Owner) with 125,000 miles? Guess what? Perfect interior and excellent exterior. Guy got a great deal at 2 grand. It's all about the care, not the mileage. My GTS is in better shape than most Viper's I've seen, and most had under 10,000 miles. Actually, not driving a car is more detrimental to internal parts, than actually putting reasonable mileage on the vehicle. I could understand you not wanting to pay $48,000 for a Viper with 100,000+ miles (yes, some do), but 25K? Heck, that motor is just broken in.... Not trying to change your mind - if you want a Viper with low-low miles, that's cool. But you're going to miss out on a lot of nice cars, that could be bought for considerable less....
Absolutely agree its all about the care. Was just stating what I have seen out there for sale currently.
And I passed on a 2400mile 99 GTS "Garage Queen" as did my friend who I gave the info to, because of exactly what you said- NOT driving the car is detrimental- if a car sits that much in 5years- the seals warp, fluids deteriorate, etc.
Good Points you made.
Just stating my preference for lower mileage as it will be a keeper for many years to come.
Thanks for your input and not razzing the noobie too much.
Like was said the mods are very limited. I have even taken some stuff off.
all it has now is the headers, exhaust and flywheel. The gears are back to stock and the VEC1 has come off.
The car hasn't been wrecked or anything. Its not so much that the car hasn't sold as to the fact that only one person has even come to look at the car. He wanted the car but couldn't get financing

It just doesn't make any sense.
Do you still have all the parts... like the nitrous kit that was on it?
