I might be able to work for myself in a sense doing field work in claims. After a certain amount of billing I keep half of the take. Serious driving but more $ and I will work from home and I will be able to work myself into sales and aquiring new clients ect. I will be meeting the President of the company in a couple of weeks. My buddy ( I call him Smoke Jr., short, has a temper and is money motivated and is the regional marketing rep).
Known him since High School and we went in the service on the buddy plan. The dumb arse turned down a full ride Scholarship to Emery Riddle Flight School to join the Marines. We are pretty much brothers and he is kicking himself on that one We started in insurance the same time and he went mroe into sales and I went stupid. Perhaps I will be able to correct the wrongs I have made?
Ok enough boring talk on my life story. I just felt a sense of hope and thought I would express it.
Taht is all...........back to politics and who is hotter than who
Nothing like getting a promotion you don't deserve because you know somebody. It's the American way.
Lets see marketing guy puts key people in place that he can trust that will service his accounts. I know hire a complete stranger that you are really not sure who is qualified to take care of your accounts that you rely on as income.
I am curious though, please tell me my qualifications and how I fall short of the requirement? Why wouldn't I deserve this opportunity? Please share with us how you came to this conclusion. I am all ears.
Joker, I spent 4.5 years in insurance sales, as a captive agent. Ten years in claims before that.
If you get the opportunity... go for it. Although I took a Director level position back in claims, I am glad to have the sales side experience. For me I just decided I enjoy the corporate side.
Do it, you're young, and if you don't do it.... you'll always wonder what could have been.
For what it's worth.. the artist angle is far cooler than insurance sales.

Good Luck.
Ah yes the corporate world of insurance. It is the corporate that makes our job stressful. You an evil man Thin Man! I understand it completely but shit rolls down hill and I am the one holding the shovel
Of course the art angle is cool and a dream but until that day and if it ever comes, I am not planning on being homeless and a starving artist. For right now if my pictures sales is just cream money that rises to the top.
Not sure where the midwest jackass was coming off making that statement. Perhaps he needs to lay off the cow fucking.
