Cool man. I took the Alpine car up to ~130ish, and it was steady as could be.
Don't worry about double clutching, seriously. If you down shift, just throw it in neutral, blip the throttle while putting her in gear and let the clutch out. Just brings the revs up a bit to reduce the "drag" you will feel when it engages in gear.
Oh, and they'll keep pulling and pulling as long as you're foot is down

Midrange and top end is excellent.
Don't forget, the 5spd pattern is different than your viper. Reverse is where 1st is on a american car... so be aware of the different locations when downshifting.
