Whew! I just got back from test driving an 04 maseratie coupe with f1 paddle shifters....blue with tan interior. all i can say it was very, very nice. the engine sound was soooooooo sweet. 390 hp/330 tq 4 seats......not bad....not bad at all. :thumb:
there was a continental GT there....but it was just too old person-ish. if i got one of those, i would have to start smoking big ass cigars, wearing gold chains with gold nugget rolexes and burgundy pants....and i could never go out without a glass of scotch in my right hand..... lol!!!
u cracked on my impeccably incredible style and taste? how could u? thats just wrong....so wrong.......
FUCKER!
ok, so now that the asswipes have FINISHED hijacking my thread. has anyone driven a Maserati Coupe? or heard anything good or bad about them? im looking for a daily driver....has to have backseats.....so far i have narrowed it down to the 911TT and the Maserati Coupe with F1 paddle shifters...
i love the Pcar TT but it is soooooo common here in dallas. not the TT, but the 996 is almost as common as a vette. and its almost as difficult to tell the difference b/t carrera and a TT as it is with a vette and a Z06.
i know the performance edge goes to the Pcar.....and thats what im leaning towards...but the Maserati just caught my attention and it was a LOT of fun to drive. the interior was very similar to my Aston. it was gorgeous.
Aston Martin DB9. Fuck the Italians on the GT front
If you must have back seats (I hope your kids are small, because there aren't many cars from ANY camp with large rear seats), Look at the Astons, or if you want Italian... Ferrari 456GT. You could go oldschool Maser if you wish, an Indy will do what you want it to. Pimpin' unique oldschool would be an AM V8 from about 78 or so. Badass cars man, sound wonderfull.
it had major mechanical and electrical problems not to mention several fit and finish issues. it left stranded on the side of the road 3 times in the first month. dealership never could get it fixed right so they bought it back.
they are my favorite cars. im just gonna give them a little more time to get all the bugs worked out. the Vanquish is still based on their old platforms and is set to undergo a whole new redesign like the DB9 and AMV8. i will check back with them then.
