We have site supporter forums where you can post all the porn you want. Don't do it in public forums because you put the entire site as risk. That's why you got clipped.
Relaxed rules doesn't mean "no rules". First of all, the thread wasn't marked Not Work Safe and viewing it could get someone in alot of trouble. Secondly, as a site we determined that there were limits on what would be considered acceptable posting and provided some alternative resources for those wanting to post adult images.
The Constitution is pretty explicit about what is acceptable and what isn't. And, if there is still confusion, I can work on making it even more so if necessary.

How does this put the site at risk? Honest question, with free for all the internet is. I understand the "work safe" reason, but is there something we as the users don't see or understand?

Copyrights come to mind. Many of the pictures posted are done so with out the consent of the copyright owner.
We're also trying not to get blacklisted as an "adult" site which would put us on blocking lists that alot of companies use.

first, i completely disagree that Hyde should have been banned for 24 hours. the mods should have removed it and warned him. hell, not even .org or the z06 board would ban u for a first offense! please dont get wand happy fellas.... just warn the guy/gal and if they do it again, ban em. it will avoid in cases like this one people being banned for posting what they legitimately believed to be ok stuff.
second, having nudity or porn on a site doesnt put it at risk whatsoever from a legal standpoint. i agree that it might make it susceptible to being blacklisted but it does not create risk or liability.
Well, I don't know if words like "fuck" will get us blacklisted - but I do not adult material will in a heartbeat. As I said, in the past it was done a little differently and I dont expect that to change going forward.
