I saw the 2005 QUAD CAB SRT10 on speed channel this morning..when is this truck going to be available? Any prices yet? Love the SRT10, but needed four doors
The SRT 10 is fun in a single cab, but is definately not a daily driver type of vehicle. For flash and power, it was fun to take out for a few days, but I guess I'm spoiled, if I'm driving on city streets, I don't want it to feel like I'm off roading, and that sport suspension was a little rough in my book. I have a quad cab for a reason, room for kids and dogs and towing and hauling stuff around. I just don't see the SRT 10 as THAT kind of vehicle. (although, I can see it as a family vehicle for Wicked and Eric.....)
No truck should have 4 doors

Huh? EVERY truck should have 4 doors. It's pretty nice being able to get 5 people in the truck comfortably. It's also nice having a large interior cargo area when the back seat is put down. Dodge's quad cab is a sorry excuse for a crew cab. Chevy and Ford got this right. I can't believe Dodge won't build a true crew cab pickup. They miss a ton of sales because of that.
uhh, last time I checked dodge DOES make a true Crew cab. With 4 forward hinged doors, they have been making them since the intoduction of the new body style on the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. In fact, I believe they also have the greatest angle of opening on the rear doors as opposed to Chevy, Ford, and Nissan.

Uhhh, just because it has 4-doors does NOT mean it's a crew cab. If you look at the back seat, you'll notice that it is the same size as a club cab seat. I don't care how wide the doors open, the back seat has to be big with plenty of leg room. I've bought and driven crew cab trucks since 89 and have ALWAYS wanted the Cummins power plant but also required a crew cab. At least now Chevy has the Duramax with the Allison transmission and I have ordered my 3rd one.
Number 2 is no turd at all. The new ones have a big sun roof that'll come in real handy for varmint hunting.
2003, white, 3/4 ton (2500 HD), 4x4, short-bed, Duramax, Allison 5 speed auto trans., open headache rack. Gets great fuel economy and is quiet (Bosch fuel rails and injectors which is part of the Duramax)
