What kind of value do you place on this?

Person at intersection makes left turn across another lane which there was a lady on a motorcyle. The personw as too drunk to realize he was not in the left turn lane that the lady was in. He thought he was in her lane. In that lane that the lady was in you have the choice to go straight or turn left. Light turned green, lady went straight and the drunk guy in his Ford P/U with trailer full of landscaping tools ect turns left and runs over her like you would when you skip a curb. The drunk guy doesn't even realize he ran over a motorcycle until a witness sppeds up to flag him down but not before he halfway drags her across the intersection then through his tires and trailer. I just got this claim in and last I heard she migth loose her right leg and there is a good chance she will have about 30% use of her right arm. She lost most of her flesh on her legs and back and has a huge laceration down the side of her face from her eye down to her chin. Her boyfriend was rigth behind her and saw the whole thing. Apparently they were taking a weekend stroll on PCH. She was only 23 years old and had just started riding 3 months ago.

So how much is a 1994 Honda Shadow worth in perfect condition? I mean the lady kept this bike in perfect condition. I hate total losses because everybody thinks their POS is worth millions.

I changed employers, went from handling commercial lines back to good ole non-standard auto. Lets just say I handle California losses and have to use a translation line half of the time to talk to my insureds. [img]/images/graemlins/laughing.gif[/img]
