Drove a 360 Modena the other day,
A friend of mine Brought his 360 to my office and Of course Ihad to take it for a drive!

THe car is a great car! this car had the F-1 type shifters which was pretty cool! the car has a Ton of Room which is very nice.

the car is quick but still not enough to handle the VIper.


I think the car turns heads based on the fact of the Yellow Horse Logo on the side. The Viper Turns heads because you cannot quit looking at it!

Bottom line is this. the 360 is a really nice car However, you just can't beat the VIPER!!!

They are roomy on the inside, which is a departure for an italian [img]/images/graemlins/wink[/img]

If you want viper-like torque and a prancing pony, I recomend the 550. 575's are over priced IMHO for not much difference in performance. It was very comfortable for me, and I'm a big guy.

Late last summer I was coming down I-45 between Dallas and Houston, and rolled up next to a 360...Dinked around with him a bit, then got bored, hit the spray and walked him like a civic...

Don't get me wrong...the 360 looked very cool...but if it's all the same (and it is)...I'll keep my Viper.

360 is a very high selling F-car (volume). They're nice, but I'm waiting for the bottom to fall out of the market. Their prices have been kept too high for too long. Supply is about to exceed demand within a year or so, at which time the great 360 will begin it's plumet.


550 is still the better car of the two, but if your into mid-8s, then it's a good ride.

When I went to NC last december I was horrified at all the nascar fans. I saw more nascar flags than American flags

The 550 rocks! My favorite modern Ferrari. [img]/images/graemlins/smiles[/img] The only problem with it is the open air version is way, way overpriced.

Toby, Is there any logic to the different terms that Ferrari uses for the the convertible versions. I've noticed that in a 550 its called a Barchetta, while the 360 is a Spider.

The 550 Barchetta reflects the past as a interpretation of the classic, open-top front-engined 1947 V12 Ferrari barchetta aimed exclusively at open-air use.

I'm a die hard viper fan, but I must say....

I'll take the modena. I've considered buying one, but I don't know if I want one THAT bad.....I'd get the spyder, and have gone as far as pricing one (which for me is just about buying it).

who knows what the future will hold

the Stradale is nice as well..
