i am in Arkansas for a basketball tourney, and it is a pretty cool place. i do NOT want to see any more "Home of President Bill Clinton" signs, but the highways are nice, and the river going through the town is pretty cool. i dont know if it is the inbreading, but there arent a lot of pretty people....
Arkansas is a shithole. I know people that were trapped there for a while - it is 'neckville with fire ants, lightening, ice storms and bad food. Actually, the people are nice, but the food, weather and insects are not.
And if you are wondering why the roads are good, thank the former Philanderer in Chief. Go over the border to Louisiana and the roads immediately turn to crap. Guess Louisiana's federal legislators don't have the pull that a certain former governor from Arkansas had.
Louisiana and Oklahoma are notorious for shitty highways. i've only been here since 11:30, so i havent had a real chance to see it. i'll update tomorrow. i wish i had my digicam...
