Best place to fnd a bike

So, I'm looking for a bike. Has to be a sport bike and I wanted to keep it at or under 10K. This shouldnt a strech as I see alot of Kawasaki Ninja's and Suzukis going for 5-7K. But what about Ducatti's? They have always appealed to me. What is the general going price for a lightly used one?

I remeber a post not that long ago with a yellow 750 (I think it was a 750?). Where is the best place to look for them? Anyone know?

Try www.autorv.com Here in Indy, they have this magazine that they distribute weekly with something like 350-400 pages. But if you use the website, it covers Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Illionois and Wisconsin. It's for cars, and there is another magazine for bikes and 4 wheelers etc.

I would also suggest www.autotrader.com or www.chicagocyclecenter.com which is Chicago Cycle Center. Jerry is one of the largest dealers in the nation, and you can always find a good deal with him. Jason

Or you can always check www.ebay.com

A Duc is a V-twin and usually sounds lke shit, but it will sure as hell get up and go. If you're looking for a V-twin sport bike, you may also want to check out the Suzuki TL-1000.

I prefer the Yamaha R1 over anything, and my second bike would have to be a Suzuki GSXR-1000. Jason

I like the V-twins, I have been brought up around them, they prove ot be great cruisers and I love the sound. Can't really put up with the "bee hive" effect of some imports.

You are getting out of my skill lever with R1's and GSXR's.

I have checked locally and have found a number of htem. I was looking for soemthign to comapre prices. Tehre is a 99 Duc 750 SS for 4500. Looking over at a lcoal dealer, i think I might just suck it up and buy a Monster 620. They seems pretty cool.

Thanks for suggestions!
