I need a modded C5 for under 25k... And I need it soon.

As many of you know, I decided to take my c5 airbourne over some RR tracks last week. Learned the hard way about air bags deploying after what I thought was a rather nice landing from 8 foot up.

My first National event is NEXT weekend. And I don't have a car. [img]/images/graemlins/sad[/img]
I do have cash.

And am in the market for a fast C5 corvette. If anyone knows of anything available please let me know. I have checked all the corvette forums, traderonline and a couple others.

I need a coupe or convertable with a 6 speed and at least 400 hp.

Oh yeah, I only have like 23,000.00 :thumb:

Suspention mods are not important as I have extras. It has to be street legal but does not need to pass a sniffer test.

I have a brand new custom cam i never used and a C5-R timing change also brand new in box that i'll gladly sell you should you end up having to buy a stock C5.

Yeah,

I was going way too fast in a somewhat industrial area in the dark. Came up on a double set of RR tracks that had been pacially paved over.. I was going way too fast. If I had hit the brakes the front end would have smashed harder and I may have rolled it long ways... So I made a split second decision. Just when your brain says slam on the brakes and pray, my brain said Hit the Go- pedal and let's ride this bitch out.

I am from the fine state of Kentucky and therefor I do not fear jumping cars in the air and screaming YEEEEE HAAAAAAAA!! At the top of my lungs.... :thumb:

On the serious side - with the new C6 about to hit the street I would bet you could find a nice modded Z06 in the mid 20's.

It didn't hurt the motor. And the frame seems pretty straight. I may look into having a new body put on the nose.
