YOu can probably pick up a Cobra Spec Racer for $23K. Rain much there? They don't rust, all aluminum cockpit, just drill some drain holes and do above 50 mph and you stay dry. Trunk is small but will hold a nitrous bottle and duffle bag.

How much is the bid on the salvage from the insurance company? This would make a nice donor for the Factory 5 GTM mid engine car using C-5 and Z06 drivetrain.

I got the front end and hood redone and repainted on my dad's vette for about $1500. This was to repair scratches and replace the headlight cover. It looks like you are going to need a replacement front end and I'm sure that would be much, much more. How fast were you going when you did hit the tracks?
