VOI Hotel info for ViperAlley?

May be a little late, but are there any rooms left there for VOI? I need 1 room. Are the VA people staying together? Looking for info,

alot of people are staying at the Harvey. I tried to get us a group rate but we couldnt get enough people to commit to it by the deadline.

I called the hotel and the rooms are $150 a night. Is that what everyone paid? Is there another hotel close to this one or the Gaylord (where the VOI people are staying)? I realize I missed out on the group rate, but paying double what you guys did sucks! Hell The Gaylord (is that really the name?) is $180.

Nathan, we booked the Harvey through hotwire.com, ~$50/night, about 5 miles from the site.

I went to hotwire and it makes you book before it tells you the hotel. How would one book a specific hotel - ie - the Harvey beforehand? I don't want to pay for a hotel and then realize that it's not the one that everyone is staying at. Thanks

Yeah, I know what you are saying, and the prices and regions fluxuate from time to time. I'll try a search on there and help triangulate it for you.

I did a search on Dallas - DFW North Airport region, and came up with several hits, and believe the $51/night one is the right one (that's what I signed up for), based on the 3 stars, pool, and laundry availability to distinguish from the others (see http://harveyhotel-dfwairport.felcor.com/). Obviously it is a little leap of faith, but many others such as myself have done it successfully [img]/images/graemlins/wink[/img]

Yep, Slaughter has got it, go to Hotwire and look at DFW North Airport region. Then when the hotels come up look for the 3.5 star hotel.

Edit, looked into Hotels and I think the Harvey comes up as a $130 3.5 starp, but a 4 star came up at $58 dollars in the same area. I would jump on that one, good luck.

The Harvey came up as a 3 star for me I believe - maybe I have tougher standards than you
