We were at a bar recently and I was amazed at the beer selection they had. This was not one of those 100+ beers palces where 90 of them are shit. This place had 7 of the 10 best beers, 6 of them on tap. :thumb:
The 10 best beers are (in no particular order):
Chimay
Duvel
New Castle Brown Ale
Bass Pale Ale
Boddingtons Pub Ale
Guiness Stout
Hacker Pschorr Octoberfest
Pilsner Urquell
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Celis Pale Bock
And as far as that vanilla beer - I remember a time when they messed up our drinks over there - came out with that crap - and all of us dumped that crap out and ordered another normal beer... Unfortunately the bastard came out with the same crap again
You might be an alcholic if you take your camera to the bar and take pictures of the draft beers and bottles instead of chics. Or you might just be gay?

Trust me. In this bar, on this night, the taps were the best looking thing in the place, besides my wife. And I don't know you animals well enough to post pictures of her yet...
As far as my alcholism. That's between me and my beer. So just leave us alone. We are perfectly happy...

Most locations of the Atlanta-based Taco Mac restaurant chain carry huge selections of very good beers. Their main location (Roswell Road, just off the northern side of 285) has more than 300 beers on tap. A couple of the other locations have well over 100. The one in Virginia-Highland is a great place to hang out. The bartenders AND the wait staff all know how to pour properly (including wheat beers from a bottle, and correctly mixing things like black & tans), and in spite of their huge tap count, it's mostly good -- definitely far better than a 10% good-to-bad ratio. And even more amazingly, it always seems to be fresh.
And finally, I can't help but point out that a bar with 90 bad beers and 10 good ones would still have more good ones than the bar you're talking about. :thumb:
