I really like my Kubota 2710.......27 horse, big enough to work or small enough to fit in tight places.....the 2900 model has a tilting steering wheel too...
Think what you want to do with it, then get the 3-point attachments to fit.

Re: trying to find a tractor...
My buddy here just bought a John Deere 2210 Compact Utility Tractor with 25hp. Says it has a good warranty and has a lot of options/attachments for versatility. He also said he considered getting a Kubota 2710.

I have work for and was trained by Deere. You could not give me one. There are some that give you no grief, but most of them .
Another vote for Kabota.
Or check out some of the "new" brands out there.

Anyone else like the feeling of driving your car after spending an hour or so on a riding lawnmower? Feels weird as hell.
Maybe I'm just an idiot.

Another vote for Kubota. I owned and operated a landscape company for quite some time. If you think the money is when you first start out, wait until word spreads.
Check out
www.lawnforums.com There are a lot of very knowledgeable people over there. Same setup as Viper Alley, just with the lawn and landscape theme. Jason

Re: trying to find a tractor...
Kubota...Back in high school...I worked for my friends dad at a cemetary...you know, just cutting grass, weed eating, and planting dead people...
Anywho...All we had were Kubota's, and my buddy and I used to beat the piss out of them, and I cannot recall any of them ever breaking down...
