Hell, in 2001 my wife was right there with me, standing in the rain freezing half to death, alternating between tiny cups of nitro-powered espresso and comically huge beers, tromping around all night through the mud, and the swarms of almost surrealistically rude Englishmen. :thumb:
we had a 10 viper high speed convoy across France in 2002, :thumb: great weather for the week, just as well we camped for most of it, it was like a 24 party for 4 days. There was plenty of viper team entrants, only 3 viper people are going this time, maybe something to do with no viper entrants in 2004
the french roads are great out of the citys the best in Europe, great tarmac,
unoccupied and virtually cop free. Nadine and another fast viper team were late making the ferry on the return trip, and happily cruised at 130 for a few hours
I'm quite envious. I couldn't imagine NOT going with it being within driving distance. And in this case, I'd consider about 1000 miles "driving distance". Some good (albiet small) pictures in the http://www.lemans.org photo galleries.
in the class the viper would have been in (GTS), is the prodrive ferrari one of the drivers is Colin McCrea, the rally driving champ, this will be interesting to see how he does
This how UK members Tom and Sarah are getting to Lemans this year, 550 venom with a BTR NOS bottle in the boot. The graphics are based on the 97 Chamberlain car, I'm sure they will have some fun on the way
