I bought a Compaq lap top a couple weeks ago. 512 mb, 60 gb, 15" screen, wireless etc. etc. etc. It was a little over 1K but with all of the rebates i got, it came out ot $650.

I think it's nice to be able to walk around the house or office, or even go places and still be connected and stay on top of things. A change of scenery other than your desk is nice. I like to sit out on the lake, or in my backyard looking over the river and lake while working. Beats a cubicle. Jason
