Stem-cell research

I'm curious how people feel about this. I think Nancy Reagan makes a compelling argument for this kind of research to be pursued.

Re: Stem-cell research

I'd be dead without some of the findings. That being said, there's a number of avenues of stem cell research which have nothing to do with eBay'ing fetuses.

for pursuing stem cell research!

Religious beliefs against that are nothing but counterproductive poetry.

This research has helped save so many lives and make the quality of life better for others, I believe it should be pursued to its fullest extent

Re: Stem-cell research

If killing a child would save several lives, do we do it? There are other avenues of research to explore. We are getting one side of the issue. What about the cells from umbilical cords? It is theoretical, not fact, that it can help to the extent it is being pushed to. Some benefit, sure, but as I said before, there are other alternatives.

Enough legal abortions are performed that I don't see why some good shouldn't come from it.

Re: Stem-cell research

Radio, you're a fucking moron. Your proclivity to Yahoo your way to a superficial knowledge on a subject and then feign enlightenment never fails to humor me.

The way I see it...and it probably won't ever relate to any of the trials I am in or was ever involved with...if the choice is me or the stack of dead babies out by Mrob's trash can, I choose me every time. I am a lot cooler than most people on Earth, so I am betting I scoreboard the mass grave of fetuses, too. But that's just me...pragmatic and unattached.

If another life (or fetus, however you score that one) is served to save the greater good, that is honorable, not horrible.

So if for the greater good we quit spending money on people with serious diseases and let them die with dignity, it is good. Afterall it serves the greater good. Right.
Subjects interest me, I do some research, learn about it. Your idiocy never fails to amaze me.
