I'm relisting the 'Mog
Well since the last time i posted the truck up for sale, I've decided to price it to move. I haven't put more than a hundred miles on it in the last 4 months and it is doing no good sitting. If anyone is interested.. or forgot my last spiel: it is a 1963 Mercedes Unimog that has been modded to the max. Ultimate streetlegal offroader etc. blah blah blah.
Price: $14k with no winches or $16.5k with a 12,000lb rear Ramsey and 20,000lb front Werner F64. It's probably going back up on ebay in a couple days, along with posting it to various boards. Of course my preference is to sell it with the winches (listing it so darn cheap as i am lazy and do not want to have to pull the winches- the F64 alone can fetch $3k). No smog required, registered currently in CA as a suv.

This truck is trail proven on the Class 4 trails of Moab and handled the Rubicon easily. Hauls 5 in comfort along with a week's worth of supplies. Rated at 1 3/4 ton and will hand a H1 it's ass in the offroad environment. Truck has approximately 12k miles on it.
Air down the tires and roll it in your garage Makara.. I'll even get it shipped to Socal cheap. I would absolutely love to have this truck down in Socal. You see 3 out of 4 people in the opposite lane rubberneck to check it out going down the road.

A neighbor of mine had a lifted H1 with 42 inch swampers and a bad ass mog. I'm out of garage space and have another car in storage already. Being that I won't be home for several months, I just can't do it now. Would be a bad ass truck to have though. Would be fun to cruise sunset blvd in.
There are mounts for folding troop seats in the bed which let you carry another 8 people.. figgured i might add that. As for getting rid of the red paint.. easier said than done as it is integrated into the rhinoliner.. i spose a week with a chisel and you could get most of it off. I think i still have the parts for the gun rack that mounts on the radiator if you want as well.
That is the neatest damn truck I have ever seen. After you posted it for sale the last time I read everything I could find on them. I would love to take it off your hands but...I'd loose my wife and a place to live!

Theres enough room in there for you to live.
Your wife would probably kill you (thus the reason this is sitting in my driveway and not yours). Nohs.. you could always rattlecan it camo color from the local army-navy surplus store (that is what i did with my last one). Motorcity.. how fast is directly proportional to the size of your nutsack. After 55 mph you start wondering what it would feel like to flip and die. 55 mph and lower and life is good. I honestly don't know the top speed.. and i am not going to be in it on the day that someone decides to see what it would max at. The truck would actually make a great shooting platform as the front window can be folded down as well As far as practicality goes.. well it is probably more impractical than the viper. a pro: Makes a great bar hopping taxi.. I always had the girlies asking to touch it (rhinoliner i guess?) and for rides. Only thing i was afraid of was that 4 foot step down. I figgured some dumb drunk was going to step out and lose all their teeth on the way down.
