Never been suspended. Got Reckless years ago and got off with a $75 fine and a $700 lawyers fee. Doesnt sound like I'll be so lucky this time. And I doubt my cell will have high speed Internet (although this is Fairfax County, so who knows).

Was drag racing in my 73 Charger against my friend in his 71 Charger. Pig tried to get us on radar but it would not give him a steady reading. We were accelerating too fast he said. Too bad for him.
We passed him at over 130mph and kept on going. We got away and went back to my friends house, where about a half hour later a dozen or so cops show up and proceed to hand cuff us and throw us into a cop car.
I asked him what he was taking us in for and he said racing. Of course I lied and said I wasn't, but he said he saw us and would testify to that in court.
To make a long story somewhat short, 6 months loss of license and no jail time for 2 reasons.

1981 suspended for fleeing and attempting to elude.
1982 suspended for drag racing.
2000 non-judgement bullshit suspension because the fucked up state only saw that I dropped one insurance policy but not that I picked up another. Suspension was issued, the state never notified me, got busted for speeding in GA, spent a few hours in jail for the bogus non-judgement suspension, got out, made a break for FL to try and iron out the state's screw up, GA pigs were waiting for me on the highway and tossed me in jail again. It was so ridiculous I couldn't keep a straight face for the second mug shot and they kept making me take the pic over trying to make me look like a really bad guy. What a fucking joke cops are. No wonder so many people have no respect for them.
Three year suspension for failure to appear on a very minor thing. Problem was I never knew that I was suspended until I got pulled over for something else and had been driving the whole time. I had to go to court and the judge was lenient and didn't take away my license or suspend it further.
No, I'm not looking at suspension. I think the law in Illinois is 3 tickets in one year you get suspended. I'm not sure though. Seeing the going to jail post got me thinking that I would rather go to the clink for a weekend than loose my license for say 6 months.

Just because you loose your license doesn't mean you can't drive. Just ramble on to the cop in some foreign language and eventually they let you go. That's what all the migrate workers do in Florida.

I am actually amazed at the social issues 90% of those vette guys suffer from, I used to drive vettes, and at NO TIME did I ever even think I could hang with a viper...Then again...I have a firm grasp on REALITY...
