A friend/client of mine just bought a Ford dealership and he has a Ford GT being shipped to his dealership. Apparently, they won the right to it in a dealer drawing in Vegas. Anyone interested?
Im gonna take a look at it but I just cant get by the fact its a Ford. Let me know if anyone is interested or has questions.

City: he told me they are gonna start around $300k and see what happens. he did offer it to me at a little under list but i just dont know at this point.
i did like the one i saw at the dallas auto show but not more than the astons and lambos. and i dont even really like lambos.
i wont make my decision until he gets it in and i go for a test drive.

$300 seems a bit steep! In my neck of the woods they are going for $190k.

Hell, if I had a FORD GT to sell, I would try to get the most I could for it too. I just couldnt see paying 300k for one though, no matter how rich I may be. Its one bad ass car though.

I dunno, but that statement is kind of ignorant. It would be like saying you can't get over the fact that a Viper is a "Dodge". I just read an article the other day and it said they keep tweaking the Ford GT and it is getting better and better. Faster and faster. They said it's performance when it is released in a few weeks will make it one of the top 10 performance cars ever produced in the World. Who gives a shit if the name plate says Ford. It's a super car. One drove into my work place 2 days ago. The thing is just BAD ASS!!! BUt, I would hate to pay much over list for any car.

u r right. its an ignorant statement on my part but its the truth. i cant stand Fords. i hate em. im not sure why. ive just always been a chevy kinda guy. im ambivalent about Dodges so i didnt have that same sort of hate built in. and i guess cost is an issue. at $80k i might be able to get over the fact its a Ford. but at a $150k....it makes it harder. but regardless, i have Ford issues...i need therapy. First years release might be pricey but next year or maybe 7,8 months into this the price will drop. I have a couple dealers looking but not for 300, not for 200, but i am interested it the price is right.

Not really in the market, but for invoice I'd buy it tonight! I'm a greedy bastard, so I'd probably flip it. It would be worth buying at sticker too!
WHAT!$300,000?? Fuck them. I would buy a Murceilago any day over that piece of shit. It's a fucken Ford with a super charger big fucken deal. Let DC install a super charger in a Viper and market it.Lets see what will happen to GT then
