How about we race and hit you in the tunnel under caution or let you pass then push you off line into the wall.

Re: Monaco F1 race

I cursed that course for a while, then got the hang of it, and yeah, it's an insane track.

Once you stop looking at the armco, and you have the line in your head, it's almost like any other track.

Does GT3 have it? Is crawfish a hallucinogenic food?
I played that track on F1 2000 or some such game.

I watched that race at like 1am last night, MS was making a good charge and I thought he had a chance to get his 6th straight win. Get up to grab some food, when I return his car has a front wheel all jacked up and he's walking through the pits. I missed the replay, exactly what happened?

Or, how about I jam on the brakes and lock them up behind the safety car, leaving you no room to reasonably get around me (even though you dove to the inside to try to avoid me). You should have KNOWN I'd slam on the brakes and swerve to keep my tires warm.... and the tunnel is such a great place to do this. Jeez, JPM is always out to get me.

LOL

I just did the F1 Cote d' Azure race on GT3 not too long ago. The enitre Monaco race was just me thinking about where I usually put my car on that part of the track.

I had mixed feeing on this as well until I read all comments after the race. I do agree MS was being aggressive with his tire heating but... MS said he had preformed this action (heating his tires) many times during these paced laps. He was doing this a lot as he was on a harder compound tire vs many others who were on soft compounds. Obviously this is done all the time and Montoya was too close around the blind corner. Montoya even said sorry. Many other drivers commented as well to the fact and were staying clear of them as Montoya was not giving MS any room and riding his butt during the pace laps. They knew an accident was a good possibility.

Montoya is just plain stupid and has a history of poor decisions on the track.

MS's brother pulled another stupid move as well when he slowed and let the Renault by at the entrance of the tunnel then proceeded to accelerate forcing the Renault off line and then into the wall.

Just about all the leaders of the race said the back-markers were causing all kinds of trouble on Sunday.

BAR still gets the dummy of the weekend award by not pulling their car off when they knew the car was going to puke. Another accident that could have been prevented.

ok back on topic...

Maxx...you should get a copy of GP4 for the PC. It's a F1 sim and is a lot of fun to play. Lots of mods and updates too on the web.

I play it all the time.

Here is a site that offers mods and screen shots/movie clips if you want to check it out.

Re: Monaco F1 race

Lol i saw that helmet heave.

Montoya is a fucking idiot, apparently he is the least liked driver in pit lane.

Has anyone seen the video where he attacked the cameraman after walking into the guy???

Reformatted hardrives since then and lost it but ill try to get it back.
