It has been over 24 hours, no poll went up, no one called for one, nothing. Are we going to follow the rules or not.

Guidelines for Suspensions
Moderators have the ability to “suspend” a users account for violation of our policies. As a general rule, a moderator must get 4 of 6 other moderators to support the suspension prior to it being executed.
In the event other moderators are unavailable, or a moderator feels there is a particularly egregious violation, they may use an exception to suspend an account as long as that moderator promptly advises all the other moderators of his or her actions. In the event that moderator is unable to get a 4 of the 6 majority required for a suspension, a users posting privileges will be restored.
. First time offenses will invoke a 24-hour suspension.
. Second time offenses will invoke a 5-day suspension.
. Third offenses will invoke a 30-day suspension and a banning poll.
Users who are suspended will receive a notification from the moderator explaining their violation and their suspension. Suspensions are not open for polling by the members and will be served in their entirety.

It has been two days and nothing has been mentioned about it at all. No poll, calling for a poll, No mention of the incident at all. No moderator has stepped forward to give an explanation of any kind.
IMO, this presents several problems. The Issue is not weather I agree with the initial action or not. It was taken and I stand by the right of Eric to do so. But it has been 24 hours(48) His account should have been reinstated.
The mods are not allowed to engage in hidden acts. Their should be an explanation of the status. Again their has been NO poll of any kind
Their has been no mention of what is going on, or any mod other than Eric taking any capacity in this in public view. I see all of this as a clear violation of the Alley rules and a major fumble on the part of the Mods.
It's not the end of the world and I dont mean to come of as the drama Queen about this. I am just wanting to know what Is going on, and am trying understand why this case is either an exception or why the rules are not being followed.
I enabled his account as the mods have been discussing this issue and the schedules are all a little off - chalk it up to alot of busy people not being able to get much convo time in the past few days.

Thats good enough for me. I know the sun does not rise and set on the alley for everone myself included......well for some of us its not that important.
